❄️ Winter Wonderland ❄️
This past weekend brought a wintry mix of sub-freezing temps, ice, sleet and over 4 inches of snow to our north Georgia farm. This mesmerizing landscape provided a much needed pause from the hustle and bustle we too often find ourselves caught up in.
Hard to believe for most gardeners but all of our hybrid Amaryllis are field grown on the farm. Unprotected from the elements and now hidden under a thick blanket of snow. Nestled in for their long winter nap, the bulbs stay dormant from the first hard freeze in October until ground temps warm sufficiently in May.
